Varmt välkommen till Siggaboda Damm!
Vår lilla anläggning är belägen i Tingsryds kommun på gränsen mellan Skåne, Småland och Blekinge. Historiskt var fastigheten ett mindre sågverk och kvarn. Dammen stod för energiförsörjningen, vilket den fortfarande gör. Närheten till vattnet och naturen i kombination med naturlig tystnad borgar för en vilsam vistelse med personlig service.
Fastigheterna är rustika och andas samma anda som omgivningarna. Röda hus, skog och vatten som det ska vara i Småland! Den vardagliga service man kan behöva når man på några minuter i Ryd - där finns bank, apotek, vårdcentral, livsmedelsbutik, järnhandel, bibliotek m m. Till kommunens centralort, Tingsryd, är det 26 km. Där finns bl a systembolag och badhus.

Welcome to Siggaboda Damm!
Siggaboda Damm is situated in the municipalities of TINGSRYD and ÄLMHULT, on the boarder between Skåne, Blekinge and Småland.
From an historical point of view, this property used to be mainly a small sawmill and watermill. To this day the water mill is still functional and provides enough electricity to run the property ( if only there is enough water in the pond!) Being next to water and nature will grant you a fabulous break in a peaceful and quiet environment.
The buildings are rustic and renovated with natural materials like stone floors, bricks and wooden walls etc. – It provides a feeling of being “back in the old times” Everything is up to date but still kept in the old genuine style and the surroundings are very attractive with a mixture of water and forest. When you come to Småland you expect to see red houses, forest and water – it is all provided at Siggaboda Damm! (cable TV and broadband is of course available) . Siggaboda Damm provides everything you need for a relaxing stay in a beautiful environment among red houses, forests, lakes and wilderness.
You can go into the nearest village, RYD, for your daily shopping and there is a bank, postal service, an iron mongler´s, a chemist, library,a couple of Pizzerias, a Chinese restaurant to mention a few of the facilities nearby ( some 7 km from Siggaboda).
TINGSRYD is the nearest central village, 26 km from Siggaboda, and there is a public indoor swimmingpool and in addition to what Ryd has to offer, there is access to SYSTEMBOLAGET - the Swedish monopoly selling wines and other alcoholic drinks. ÄLMHULT is about the same distance from Siggaboda as Tingsryd and has more general shopping facilities than Tingsryd; there is also an IKEA shopping Mall.
